Me As 3 Years Old Strawberry Shortcake Yay
Do you remember your favorite childhood cartoon character? As a kid, I was obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake. I remember watching the show every morning and even asking my mom to buy me a Strawberry Shortcake doll. But my love for Strawberry Shortcake goes beyond just watching the show and having the doll. There was a time when I dressed up as Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween when I was only three years old.
Why I Chose To Dress Up As Strawberry Shortcake
I remember my mom asking me what I wanted to dress up as for Halloween. Being the huge fan of Strawberry Shortcake that I was, I immediately knew that I wanted to dress up as her. I loved everything about her, from her pink and white striped stockings to her red hair with a green bow. I even had a Strawberry Shortcake lunchbox that I took to school every day. So, it was a no-brainer for me to choose to dress up as her for Halloween.
How I Prepared For My Costume
Preparing for my Strawberry Shortcake costume was a team effort. My mom helped me pick out the perfect pink and white striped dress, which we found in a thrift store. We also found a green bow that matched Strawberry Shortcake's, and my mom curled my hair to give me red ringlets. To complete the look, my mom painted my face with freckles and even drew a small strawberry on my cheek. I was so excited to wear my costume and become my favorite cartoon character for a night.
My Halloween Experience As Strawberry Shortcake
On Halloween night, I was the happiest three-year-old in the world. I remember walking around my neighborhood, proudly showing off my costume to everyone who passed by. Some people even recognized me as Strawberry Shortcake and complimented me on my costume. I felt like a celebrity! I also remember getting a lot of candy, which was a bonus.
Why I Still Love Strawberry Shortcake
Even though I'm all grown up now, I still have a soft spot in my heart for Strawberry Shortcake. Whenever I see anything related to her, it brings back happy memories of my childhood. I even bought myself a Strawberry Shortcake mug to drink my morning coffee out of. She represents a simpler time in my life, when all I had to worry about was what cartoon to watch or what toy to play with. Dressing up as Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween was one of the best memories of my childhood, and it's something that I'll always cherish.
